2008 - Part 1

2008

2007 was extremely busy and we expected it to be busier in 2008, we therefore renovated and refurnished the Salha Lbnaya House, extended the kitchen in the Oasis Center to supply food to Qa'at Al Khair and created a new village square Sa'ha Al Qariya where on the cooler nights guests could enjoy our DJ, plus live shows, whilst relaxing in a cabanas. The small kitchen in this area serves fruit juices, Arabic coffee and tea, sweets and Shwarma, plus of course the relaxing Sheesha which can be enjoyed in the Bedoiun Tent in the square. Later in 2008 we started a complete renovation and refurbishment of the Palace of Sheikh 'Abdullah, it will reopen for Eid Al Ahda on 2nd December 2008 when we will let our guests enjoy guided tours of this uniqe palace.

WANASA BEACH

Work started on Wanasa Beach in July of 2008; the beach had been established a couple of years earlier, but still needed to be brought up to a good standard. The beach has been thoroughly cleaned with cabanas, and also an air-conditioned games hall for billiards and table tennis; this should prove popular in the colder months. Beach Burgers fast food outlet abnd the mini-market are still flourishing on the beach.

On offer are jet skis, water skis, para gliding, wind surfers, banana boat rides, fishing trips and BBQ outings to Maskan Island.
